I got the adjusters apart, just need to clean, polish, and de-bur the moving parts. Should I use some sort of lithium grease or other lubricant so that they don't freeze up again?

Yes, a good brake rated grease is fine. I used white lithium. Make sure to be sparing, you don’t want any drips or runoff to contaminate the brake shoes.

Rear brakes are completely rebuilt, everything seems to be working awesome. Figure I'll change the diff oil while I'm under there. Are there any other lube points I should address while I have the rear on jack stands. How about the E-brake mechanics under the car?

Breaks ? The car has breaks ? haha I think I have one that works regularly . For real . Pulls to right sometimes and I don't think I have back breaks at all ... Wow not good huh.. :-/ works great though .. but sounds terrible out loud .. I'd better get on that .

Working on the front brakes do I need to separate the rotor/hub to have it machined or leave it as 1 piece?
The pads come right out the top of the caliper after removing the keeper correct?
What else should I do while I have it apart?

Well, I finally got it driving, still have some fine tuning to do, doesn't seem like it's all there yet.
Brakes still a little mushy,
Clutch needs a little adjusting,
Forgot what a go cart feels like,
Forgot what 96 HP feels like,
Doors are over rated,

Cooling issues, tried to burb it today as Notoptoy described, I was able to add more coolant to the system, but the bottom hose has been replaced, it has a small hose off the radiator into a metal tube and then a flex hose to the water pump, nothing like I see on the vendor website replacement hoses. So, I am unable to squeeze the bottom hose to burp it. I can squeeze the top hose and all I hear is coolant, I don't hear any air. Can there be an air pocket down below. It's still running 200+ or so.

Mushy brakes could be just another good bleeding. If it is mushy/no resistance for a few inches then hard the rear brakes need to be adjusted closer to the drum as you can feel that travel before they contact and firm up. I also enjoyed seeing your first drive! Lol.

Still having temp issues, I have tried to burp it, should I just drain it and start over. Here is a pic of the bottom hose, you can kind of see the metal tube, there is about an inch of hose between it and the radiator, the upper portion of flex hose is hard as a rock, so makes it hard to squeeze and get a good burp out of it.
Before After Not perfect, but much nicer........
I bought a new Unysin Carb tool to start fine tuning and thought I should squirt these two spots and check for vacuum leaks, Of course the leaks are huge. What goes here, I guess I can't tune the carbs until this is corrected. PO used some wood dowels. I
Started stripping and polishing the wheels until I get the above figured out.Before After Not perfect, but much nicer........

Wood dowels LOL...sins of the PO thread! If it is an original radiator, chances are it needs service/re-coring. The metal pipe is a kludge. People spend all kinds of time chasing other suggestions and it is almost always the radiator itself if overheating - these cooling systems are extremely simple, but they won't cool if the radiator is plugged up.
Also keep in mind if you seriously overheat it you will have much bigger problems on the horizon.

Re burping etc. cooling system.
I have found that filling overflow tank 1/2 way and filling main system as much as possible and then running the car with the thermostat tower cap on, and the overflow cap off will force a lot of the air out.
I just have filled, ran, turned off, burped, repeat with no problem.
You could also 'restart' with as empty a system as possible, and then note how much coolant you have put in vs. the listed capacity.
As JT noted (implicitly) if the condition of the radiator is unknown, then you are likely to get dizzy from chasing your heating tail.
Worth pullling (if heating/cooling is a problem) and getting it checked out.
With ANY old car, explicit knowledge of component functionality/age/mileage is one of the best things you can know!
