I also use a Group 51R battery....what year and model Honda is that tray and bracket for ? It looks like a good arrangement for that battery...

My tray is from a Honda S2000. Any of the years 1999-2009. Cut the nibs off the bottom.

Honda Civic 2006-2011 battery hold down. I shortened one end of the bracket a little for fit, then dipped in liquid electrical tape/rubber. Also used a longer universal rod from NAPA on the engine side of the bracket.
