Those who have been there know the drill, Anyone thinking about coming should get a place to stay NOW. If you need any guidance, contact me and I'll get you pointed in the hopefully right direction. Most people arrive Thursday and stay through Sunday.
Basic schedule
Thursday night Datsun meet and greet, Friday all day is the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival grandprixfestival.com Saturday morning Datsun Show and Shine at Lakewood Winery, then an informal group drive or 2, then our awards dinner at the Clute Park Pavillion on the Lake late afternoon into the evening.

The meet and greet is at Two Goats 0n the east side (Rte 414) about 7.5 miles up from Watkins on Thursday. From about 4 to 6 pm. John says Datsun folks enjoy a craft beer and roast beef sandwich for $10. We will have Datsun flags flying on Rte 414 at his entrance. Big Two Goats sign but is seen a little late. Carl and Kathy

For those who haven’t been before:

Thursday night we all try to meet up, this year is Two Goats, they have beer wine and a great Roast Beef sandwich.





Friday Sept 7 is the official downtown event most of the day. Late afternoon the street closes and the cars start running laps. We meet at Datsun Hill , officially called Miliken’s Corner , the hillside on the corner of W 4th street and South Madison where the cars come down the hill and turn left before the right onto Franklin St. straightaway. Whistles, cowbells etc are good, cheer for Datsuns, ridicule MG’s Park where you can.



Saturday morning 9:30 am is the Show and Shine at Lakewood Winery, just us and whoever else comes by. 4024 NY-14, Watkins Glen, NY 1489 We hand out ballots and all judge each other’s cars for a variety of awards. From there, people usually split off and go to wineries, Windmill Market or the track. Meet up later for dinner, see below.



Amazing Joe is laying out a Roadster run to Hammondsport on Keyuka Lake for an informal picinic. Pack a lunch, bring something to share. All invited







After dinner there is a do-it-yourself raffle, general guideline has been bring something fun, interesting and/or Datsun related. Bring 2 or 3 things if you like. Everything goes on the table, we draw tickets and you pick something from the table. It goes round and round till it’s done. There is everything from garage chemicals, roadster parts, fun gift stuff, bottle of wine is always good, crazy odd Christmas gift from your Aunt, whatever you bring is fine, but please no junk, unless it’s funny.

Dinner Saturday afternoon is a new location, Lakeside Park Pavilion on the Lake. Just east of Walmart on east 4th Street/ rt 414 over the bridge and turn left into the parking lot. There is a $5.00 parking charge, which we will be pre-paying or reimbursing . It’s across the street from the place we used last few years.

Dinner will be ready around 5pm, menu is Fireman’s Chicken and Pulled Pork sandwiches and sides by a local caterer with great reviews. Come early and see everyone. BYOB.
