Made some MSD 8.5mm wires. Its a set for a V8 motor, so it had extra long wires. I have a spare set since there was 8 wires... If they sell the crimps and connectors I probably have enough extra to make a few more sets! haha the Roadsters wires are so short compared to what they gave me to use.

Heres an installed pic of the engine bay

and a comparison of the old baby wires to the manly MSD wires haha

Initial impressions were actually a LOT better than what I expected. This past week, I have been fine tuning my distributor to the recommended 20* advance, but it was breaking up pretty hard in the higher RPMs, so I backed it down to 16*... There was still a little bit of breaking up at higher RPMs but it wasnt terrible, nor as bad as 20* was so I left it. With the new wires on, there isnt any breaking up at all, and I think I can take it back up to 20* Overall, Im very happy I did this.

Doing a bit of work on wire harnesses today and I cut out the glove box for my new fuse box. Needed the prototype for people who have ordered.

Located and Installed a VERY rare, factory correct NOS Mitsubishi voltage regulator. Funny how the little things can make my Roadster day.

Yep, all original cables. I bought the last ones Dann had at Rallye a few years ago.

Oh ya, I believe you sent me pictures of it. I got the positive cable from him since you beat me out on the negative. He who hesitates...

Working away on harnesses today and my new bling from Z Therapy showed up. Trading a set of harnesses for the gift certificate that brought me these. And Friday I got the wire I need to continue work on the set.

Since I wasn't sure about gaskets I ordered some MGB SU gaskets at $0.75 each plus shipping. I remember the old gaskets for my Datsun were cut like this.

Yes, I have several of the 3 hole. One thing Rock Auto is good for is finding parts from other cars that fit.
