Met some 311s members in person, Ted of course as well as ppeters914 and parked next to sfdaugherty as well as some new roadster owners in the paddock... tomorrow should be fun with the parade lap on the track...

Also went to the Concours de Lemons this morning... Ted's pictures encapsulate the irreverence and fun of the show.

Took the late afternoon off and went a few miles south on the PCH to a suitable picture stop:










And finally, learned the hard way... do not go to Cannery Row for dinner during Monterey Car Week... 1/2 hour crawling in bumper to bumper traffic getting the few blocks downtown and a full hour back on the same route due to the traffic from a supercar event that had all the downtown streets full of police and spectators. As annoying as traffic was, it's still fun to be getting the thumbs up from Ferrari and Lambos as I pace them in traffic.

Poor roadster clutch, pretty sure I've taken a couple years off it. Hope it survives to run a parade lap.

Just a thank you to Z Owners of Northern California, all the volunteers, and ESPECIALLY TO ANN DEVOR, who made the Datsun-Nissan Corral, parade lap, and all of the festivities happen!!!

Big shout out for the big effort so that all of us Z, 510, Roadster, and Skyline/GTR owners and families could have so much fun!!!

Hey! How did these Z interlopers get into the roadster section!? Easy... after the parade lap, some other Z33 took my spot in the SRO section!! I figured it'd be OK if I parked it on Roadster island for 30 mins...Haha.

We will echo Mics sentiments for the weekend and accolades to ZONC and Ann. Plus all those who brought cars and love for them to Monterey. An incredible, historica and memorable event.

Also would like to offer a tip o' the hat to Ann Devor and the ZONC crew for hosting the car corral and organizing the parade lap... I've been on the organizing end of events and they ran a great and fun event for over 150 Datsun/Nissan cars over 4 days... well done!
