Southern California Fun Run (CA-2 Newcomb's Ranch) 9/9/2018
Wanted to start the conversation now so we can all clear our calender's for a future date to enjoy some windy roads in our local mountains. Last week I met up with a few friends for an early morning drive to Newcombs ranch up the CA-2. We met at 8am and were back down the mountain by noon after enjoying a great breakfast and lots of other car/motorcycle enthusiasts. On the way down I thought this would be a great drive for the local guys in the area ( i know it has been done before, but not in a while). It's not to long of a drive but it sure has some amazing twists and turns as well as some great spot for some photos.
My thought.....Lets throw out some dates and see if we can find a time that suits the most amount of people. We can start early 730am/8am, grab coffee/breakfast and enjoy the other cars that show up. Whose in!?
UPDATE: Fun RUN 9/9/2018, all cars are welcome.

Is that Cook's Corner? That's my old stomping ground area. I actually haven't taken my datsun thru the canyon yet which is pretty crazy to think about bc you are right it is such a great drive with plenty of photo opportunities. Since I now live up in Costa Mesa area i have only really done PCH cruises. I definitely need to do a canyon run. Great post

Mackn367, might have seen you on the 55 a couple weekends ago, did you have your car out maybe 3 weeks ago?
As far as the ride goes, sounds great, don't think I'll have the roadster running by then, but can bring the Boss.
