Reproduction glove boxes early and late

There is a vendor on Fleabay selling reproduction glove boxes for both the early and the late cars. These are already assembled just like the originals. I bought one and they are nicely made and very reasonably priced.

are these plastic or paper?

my current one is paper.. or cardboard stuff.. nice n light but falling apart now

They are just like OEM. Cardboard-very nicely made. I installed one in my refurbished 66 dash. Fit is perfect and it looks great.

Ours now is like old rolling papers that have been left out in the sun all summer.

Pretty good for 40 plus years. My old one had a hole in it-probably from mice. I could have used duct tape but these are cheap all things considered and made very well. Should outlast us.
