Joaquin

Did you check the Oil Feed Tube which goes from the right side of the block to the Distributor, it is common for this tube to get brittle and crack with age, it runs right above the Fuel Pump that might be why see oil coming from that area..

Lou,

I am surprised at you! Especially with your signature line. The tube is only on the 68 - 70 cars. He has a low windshield car. They have a sending unit...

The logical fix is to put a new hose in there. They are pricey through the vendors if I recall correctly, but you can get a hose shop to make one up for you for much less...

While we are talking about the oil line to the distributor, the one Lou mentioned. I have a flex line on my u20's and on my R16 it has a copper hard line. Is that right or has some one replaced it with a cheaper fix.

The 2000 has a flex line for some unknown reason while the 1600 was delivered with a hard line (I believe that they are actually steel). Yours sound correct. The flex line for the 2000 makes no sense, and I have no idea why Nissan did that...
