Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Hi Datsun folk! Thought I might just continue this thread and introduce the latest episode of Reidus and Cletus, where we take my '68 1000km all around Ontario, Canada in a sweet event called the Maple Mille. I realize it still looks ratty and I know a lot of you (including me) will scream at the surface rust that's coming back on the car, but rest assured I won't let it stay like that and eventually this car will ride eternal, shiny, and chrome.

Already saw the episode. Loved it! I've been thinking of doing the event in Washington/Oregon. Looks like it was a lot of fun. Wondering if you have any tips/advice on how to prepare, what to bring, etc. Thanks.

Sorry AC77 I'm not very active on here, but I'm not the best person to ask about preparedness lol, I usually just jump in the thing and hope for the best. I do bring a full toolkit and some JB weld though, haven't needed the JB yet!

Just seeing your video posted some months ago.

WOW, it is so nice to have watched your craftsmanship and hands-on labour making this car into something you are really enjoying. This frame grab from near the end told me everything. Congratulations & best wishes. Love seeing your enthusiasm, and how your hard work has paid off.

Alex:

I'm just seeing this, too. I checked out the roadster episode and have gone back and watched seven of the eight episodes (and will watch the latest one soon).
These are a blast to watch! You guys have great energy and enthusiasm for old cars. Keep the episodes coming.

I've got a stock horn button for you if you want it, though IIRC you are running an early car steering wheel--if that's the case never mind, it won't fit.
