heres what flats leafs look like (i think)
not sure whether to re-arch them.. do ppl get good results?

I have HEARD that they don't last long to once re-ached but I have no experience... just what one shop told me when I was looking to have my comps re-arched. Changing to other springs or rates opens up another can of worms though, as I do not believe the gas adjust shocks work very well at controlling the comp springs or the 230lb flex-forms I run now (does not ride like a comp spring though, much nicer). The Koni were better, the Bilstein's are awesome, but now you're looking at several hundred for shocks once you change the springs. The Bs are well worth the money in my opinion, no matter how you drive the car or what springs you have, as the ride is just so much better. Re-arching is less expensive, but may not solve the problem long term, but maybe that is ok as often our cars are works in progress (32 years in my case). If you have stock springs up front, you could run the Flex forms without lowering blocks. They are light, easy to work with, and work well IMHO. Others are running 200lbs flex forms as I recall which may be ok with the gas adjusts, but I was one of the earliest to try these springs and wanted to be in the same ballpark as my comps so I went 230lb based on their calculations.
BTW, you are missing the rubber plug for the rear wheel well... will put some water in your trunk area if driven in the rain. Even just a bit of duct tape would keep it dry if you can't locate a rubber plug.

It took the low end rumble out of the flowmaster muffler on the lower rpms. That hollow deep bellowing into a 50 gallon steel drum that shakes. It doesnt sound like a mc at all.. actually nice at 3200 rpm, but very loud above 4500 retaining the classic fm sound.
maybe its like a bandpass subwoofer box... fm collects the exhaust pulses into a low hz wave and the tiny mc muffler tries to take it to a high pitch wave..cancelling each other out, anti scavaging effect.. haha, sounds surprisingly tame.

If anyone wants to start building the same exhaust system, contact me as I have a "same as" chambered muffler with 20 miles on it (2" in, 2.25" out) that is taking room in my garage... did not work well with my Monza tip as it was too loud for me vs my Dynomax turbo. $10 bucks plus shipping to pay for my time kinda...
