While it would not likely be the color I would put on my car, I still dig it... it's unique, it's fun, different, which I gather is the point and makes very good sense for you! What matters is that YOU love it. There's a lot to be said for feeling bonded to your car! Congrats on your new colors!

it is a satin/mat finish . color changing pigment powder coat clear mat . I wrapped it with 3 quarts of clear coat powder mix on top of my burgundy. I liked it ok but didn't hit what I was after .. so been messing with it for several months now and I think I've got it. pink blurple violet ghost chrome/ pearl mixed together .. and color changing stuff with it too . but all same colors . haha anyway not bad on price either

Looks like you did a really good job, especially for painting outside. You did a good job of masking things off, I don't see any over spray or missed spots... well done! I agree with the idea of putting several coats of clear over it. If you do, make sure they're compatible. If you get enough on there, you might be able to carefully buff it out with a variable speed buffer and proper buffing compounds that have abrasives that start hard and polish out finer and finer (McGuire makes one, diamond cut I think it's called. And Swirl Remover as a final buff, then good wax.) It's really fun to see what you can do, but there is some risk in that you can burn through the paint if you stay in one place too long or hit edges too hard. It also depends on how much clear you have on there. But since you did this in your yard and thusly are not expecting perfection (not saying it does not look good!) you could probably fix any screw up or mistakes if they happen. Not sure what equipment you used to shoot the car (if anything, I've done fenders with spray can paint from automotivetouchup.com), but I've been happy with the paint from them and I think it's totally possible to carefully clear the whole car with their paint and buff it out if needed... and fun. You seem to be into doing stuff on your car, so go for it girl! I bet there's YouTube on how to use a buffer. You can rent one cheap, and get a light foam cutting pad and a swirl remover soft pad. Enjoy!

My take is that Lorna likes the matte look and does not want a shiny clear coat. I like this color more than the burgundy, and think it looks nice as a matte color also. That's alot of prep and sanding and body work prior to painting.
