I was thinking the memes would start to flow with this pic....
"What, no sake?"
"Next time I'm going to try this drunk, AND with my eyes closed"
"Kids, don't try this at home"

It almost makes me want to move to the west coast. I am getting very envious of west coast comradery. I am thinking of getting a T shirt saying, "I survived the Spring of 2018." Wait, I haven't survived yet. It's ccccold and windy.
ps: Also makes me regret stopping drinking ten years ago. Holding my last bottle of Black Bushmills until confirmed incoming ballistic missiles.

Had to pull my engine one more time on Saturday. Servo transmission refused to shift into 1st or 2nd gear. Swapped with a spare Borg Warner tranny and replaced the 1-1/2" header to Dean's new 1-5/8" header.

Here it is coming out.

Had it back in and running Sunday.

Solvang . . . here we come!

Stopped by mraitch and showed him my stash of cores. I was on my way to recycle them for some future roadsters.

Stopped this morning to Skip's shop and saw Tyem's red '66. Very nice with the wooden dash! Skip's been servicing my roadster since 2004. There is no one better!

Nice to know the San Gabriel valley's booming with more Roadster fans! Met AJ from Azusa with a beautiful off white/Tan 1600, have yet to meet Tyem from Monrovia. Ray Lims my neighbor in Arcadia with 3 roadsters and Howard with his beautiful Red 2000 from La Canada ways. Both Howard and mine are 50 cars apart on the assembly line. Probably built the same day and both red. Looking forward to many runs in the future.
