Evan,

I said that I like things that fly, not things that attract flies, or things that have flies. My preferance for flying things would be World War One aircraft through the biplane trainers of World War Two and all of the things in between.

I always thought Corvettes looked OK, but were overweight, too softly sprung cruisers. The styling of the 53 - 55 cars were neat and clean, the 56 and 57s were classics. The 58 - 62 were getting into the too much goofy trim and trendy stuff. The 63 - 67 were nice - except I am on the fence about the split window 63. It has a neat look, but I bet it sucks to back one up... The Mako Shark body styled cars are HORRIBLE to park.

Enough of that though. If you want to talk the Muscle Car era, anything out of Shelby American before 1967 is good to talk about!

Ok now you got me goin....

The 1963 Corvette is the end all be all for me, I used to have a huge love for the Shelby's also but because there are so many Shelby clones with the kits out there, it has lost its allure to me..

As for the Shark design corvettes, I learned how to drive in one of those, not much of an engine, but a helleva fun car to drive!!

Maybe once my frame up restoration is complete on my 67 2000 I will sell it to someone in Japan and put a down payment on that 63 Vette

phords and chebys? when you get a 3100# car with a stock shortblock to make 550hp + and run mid 10's, and is street leagal..come talk to me.
And yes a mopar performance remained short block, stock cast crank, rods, and hyper explosive pistons...and o also a solid lifter cam. :D
I like the ford starliners, and not anything from chevy at all..
And if anyone knows what a 1962 seneca wagon looks like +2 points, and if you know where one is for sale call me!!! it would make a great drag car.
