Anyone recognize these flares?

My shop is restoring the yellow car below, and we are trying to find out more info on the weird flares it has. It seems they were a fairly popular option in the mid 70s to early 80s, before JapCo was making the stuff everyone ran (which became ProdBodies, i think?). Joe Hauser's car had them for a few years, pictured below, as well as the green car run by Roberto Lorenzutti, and Sam Armour in the blue car below.

Does anyone recognize these things? Are they still available? Were the fronts and rears sold as a set? Any help would be much appreciated!

In case anyone else is on the edge of their seat over this one, it seems those were generic flares sold by Datsun Competition. I have not totally confirmed this, but talked to a longtime Roadster SCCA guy who had put these flares on his car in the day. I guess I need to find a few Datsun Comp catalogs from that time period to confirm.
