Ordering BRE Datsun Le Mans-style Wheel
I'm looking into getting the BRE Datsun Le Mans-style Wheels for my 67.5 1600.
What size do you guys recommend? I'll be lowering the front with comp springs and keeping rear stock.
What lug pattern do I need?
And lastly, tire recommendations?

15x7+18.
4x114.3
7/16x20/17mm
Clearance can vary from car to car. In most cases however, the tire rubs, not the wheel.

Re: Ordering BRE Datsun Le Mans-style Wheel
I know the other person asked about a 67.5, but would the 15x6 +24 be a better choice for the 66 or 67 with the smaller flares?

Probably For the front. My guess is the rear wheel tub is the same.mblue97 wrote: Mon Jan 01, 2018 5:53 pm I know the other person asked about a 67.5, but would the 15x6 +24 be a better choice for the 66 or 67 with the smaller flares?

Just to give a personal datapoint: http://www.311s.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.ph ... 20#p260941peeeter wrote: Mon Jan 01, 2018 2:53 pm I'm looking into getting the BRE Datsun Le Mans-style Wheels for my 67.5 1600.

Very happy with fit and ZERO clearance issues. But be advised, size/specs aren't the end all determinant of fit; wheel STYLES also affect fit, mostly from a brake clearance perspective so anything I say here should be taken with a grain of salt unless ordering identical wheels.
Tire recommendations will vary by your intended usage and is pretty wide open... kind of like asking "What's the best food?" with as many answers as there are users of 311S.org. Love my Star Specs, but these are the only ones I've run on this car so no comparo and they fit MY needs. I've run probably 8 different tires on my Z33s and S30s but hardly a relevant comparison.

Thanks Pebbles. A lot of people forget the small flares on the front of the early cars when talking about fitment.

I was thinking about the VTO Le Man's, but only if I decide to sell my vintage Libres first...actually they are US Mag Trans Am wheels but look identical.
