13" wheels

Has anyone ever fit a set of 13" Panasports on a Roadster? Clear the stock brakes front and rear?

They will not fit on any model with Disc Brakes, not sure on 1500's

1500s came with 13" wheels, so they should fit fine unless there are some weird lumps on the backside.

Glad I came across this thread, so you cannot fit a 13" wheel on the rear of a 1600? Or is it JUST the fronts a 13" wheel won't fit on because of the brake caliper? I'm only looking to fit a 13x7 on the rears of my 69.

They can be fit on the rear with little to no modifications. They have been fit on the front, but would require a rotor change or modification and also the mounting bracket/caliper would need work.

When you say they can fit on the rear with "little to no modification" what would need to be modified? I'm looking to put a 13x7 +12mm wrapped in a 205/60R13 tire.

I don't know that all 13" wheels will fit over the finned drums, I have used steel wheels without problem. Sometime on Aluminum wheels the balance weights hit is you are not careful.

I would guess that 13x7 12mm wheels would need the fender pulled just a little......should be close.

Ok good to know, I'm actually looking for steel wheels in 13x7 +12 but that's proving to be difficult to find. As most steel wheels give backspace info instead of offset. And I've yet to find a 13x7 with anything more than a 4" backspace which is a 0 offset :/ I might just keep the factory steelies and have them modified to my liking. Thanks for the info!

Spriso did some pretty slick mods on his wife’s 1500 SR20 steelie’s I believe, you may want to look into for inspiration.

You could use 13x6 4BS with 206/60 tires Bart and other have that size.
