That is just great! So good to see another 67 2000 saved from a sad life of neglect. That car is 100% worth a "doing it right" restoration - or whatever you can afford. Either way, it will be a labor of love - meaning you are going to love the labor :-) AND driving it too.

Just for fun, please post a picture of the valve cover for us. During the run of ~850 67 2000's Nissan made slight changes to the valve cover believe it not.

Also, the reason the engine number is about 300 higher than the car VIN number is that Nissan made around that many "mules" - engines that they ran in other cars to see how they would hold up.

Cheers

Welcome!

Looks like my car and yours came off the assembly line the same day. Mine is #427.

So cool these are still turning up!
Seems that you might be in need of some solexs and live next to quit a stash of them :D

Car #420 huh? Found that one in the weeds? That's dope! To be blunt, I'm highly excited for you! Pretty soon you'll have car parts all over the joint. Keep a pot handy for all the small parts. Hopefully the engine doesn't cough or smoke too much. I'm tellin ya bud, this is a great find... a car long stashed away, truly a smokin deal. Hopefully it's not full of bugs or roaches. If you have any questions or concerns about what to do with the car, we can help you hash them out here. I'm sure this car is going to produce a lot of grins and giggles and will undoubtedly be a high point in your life! Congrats!
