Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Skagit Valley Tour with a stop at Pebbles place. 10-5-17. 230 miles.
DROVE around the Skagit Valley with DROPS member, John V.
Delivered 13" WIDE whitewall tires off my 1500 to Pebbles. He says will use them on his SR roadster.
Pebbles has a new toy hauler. Not even dirty yet. He made a back section of a roadster body into a shoe rack.

I want to see more pictures of the toy hauler! Does he still have to stand on his car to get in bed?

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Tons going on to create stress in my life lately...and I haven't had a chance to get the car out...sooo ... I took the Roadster the long way to work this morning ... remembered my sunglasses part way & circled home. On the way again, a newer red Nissan Z (didn't see enough to identify more than that) pulled up beside me at a red light. The driver pushed a button and his window went down ... I cranked mine down the correct way ... and he said to me ... "Now, that's a Real Datsun". Made me feel pretty good. I went left, he went straight.
Even more fun was when we passed each other going opposite ways on a really fun stretch. Guess we both took the long way to work ... My week just got a lot better

DROVE to the East side of the Cascade Mts to Vantage on the Columbia River, Sunny Cool Fall day. 10-9-17. 306 miles.
Started with DROPS member Adam (AC77) but his roadster got a flat tire near the start and his spare was "iffy" so he returned.

Super bummed that I couldn't make the drive with you. Looks like it was a great day. Thanks for the invite and for helping me get back on my way.ted heaton wrote:DROVE to the East side of the Cascade Mts to Vantage on the Columbia River, Sunny Cool Fall day. 10-9-17. 306 miles.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Finally got to see Brain's '67 2L at Canepa this morning! Wonderfull example and all the more impressive considering he has done a frame off resto + extensive engine upgrades in the same time it took me to get my '69 running
