Does anyone know off the top of their head the fan belt size for a U20 that has the alternator mounted on the right? I seem to remember it's different than a typical left-mounted setup.

Dayco 15380, 15385, or 15390. 15385 seems to work for most people. I'm fairly certain it's the same belt for both engines.

Nope - <G> just get some string - wrap it around the bits and note where they bisect - make a mark and that is the minimum you will need.

Any protruding surfaces I'd assume would be on the pressure plate side. The flywheel is too flat to have anything sticking out on that side.

the 'flat' side goes against the flywheel.

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread.
How do I remove the rear drum shoes? Rotor is off but the springs are in the rear. Do I just pull the shoes off or is a special tool required? I've searched for just this basic question but see no thread. Sorry meant shoes. The drum is off no problem

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread.
The Drums should pull off (there may be a Phillips head screw to remove on the surface - I don't remember for sure), if they do not, it may be necessary to loosen the brake shoe adjusters. This is a small square head bolt (6mm wrench?) on the back of the backing plates. Loosen until the shoes retract enough to allow the drums to slide off easily. If this method works, then the drums are likely severely worn, and will likely need to be turned at best, or replaced if severely scored.

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread.
Sorry my post should have asked about drum brake "shoe" removal. I have the drum off but the springs are behind the shoes. Is it a matter of just pulling the shoes out by hand? I have drum spring tools but they do not look like they would work on these
