James (Bob) Williams

Post by keith0alan »

Hello all,

Keith Williams here. Sadly, my dad passed away this morning. Many of you will remember him as he and my mother joined us on our Roadster show trips for a number of years. His prostate cancer went into his bones and the last year has been quite a struggle. He left us quietly in his sleep at home. Thank all of you in advance for your thoughts.

Keith, so sorry to read of your loss. I would imagine that your kindness, generosity and all around "good guy" persona is a reflection of his love for you, which you then expressed to others... and that is what life and love is all about. In my work, I know that life ends for all of us, but love continues no matter what one's religious or spiritual beliefs are when it gets expressed to those around you. Through that, our loved ones live on and on. He is now ready to rest, job well done, love continuing. It may not help relieve the grief, but it will allow you to smile and laugh eventually as you recall your favorite memories, share them with others, and keep the love alive. Best wishes to you and your family.

Saddened to hear of your loss Keith. Sounds like you were blessed with a dad who shared your love of roadsters and the community.

Hang those good memories out for all (and especially you) to see and grieve more than you think you should.

Sucks losing your parents. Been there. So sorry.

The grief will, over time subside, and you will always forever keep the fond memories.

Keep your head high.
Will trade guitars for roadsters, food, shelter, clothes, etc, etc.
