Was disappointed that I was unable to get my winter upgrades sorted out to drive with the gang. Got to passenger on a nice tour of the area though. Should be roadworthy soon. 80 degrees today! :smt004

Tour Recap and Stats.

Days on the road. 19
States visited. WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ, UT, ID.
Total miles driven. 5540.
Oil consumed. 1 qt.
Gas consumed. Plenty.
Temperatures. 100 in Death Valley. Freezing in Bryce Canyon NP.
Rain. Only on the 2nd day and in the last hour of the last day.
Tops down. All days but the rainy second day. Shedd OR to Red Bluff CA.
Encounters with "I had one of those" admirers. Several hundred! (seemed like).
Encounters with critters. None.
Encounters with law enforcement. None.
Vehicle problems. 4. None caused any schedule delays.
68 roadster. Electrical switch failure.
68 roadster, Alternator failure. Replaced at Solvang with spare from Kevin D.
68 roadster. Wheel damage from incompetent tow truck driver. Claim in process.
67 roadster. Loose left rear brake hose and lose of fluid.
