SoCal 1967 Roadster

Post by lbell101 »

Hello,

I just purchased a new to me 1967 1600 Roadster (or Fairlady or Sport or 311, how many names do they need?)
Unfortunately, it is scheduled to be delivered here to me in Temecula CA on the 22nd. The same day as Solvang. I want to go to the show with or without the car so maybe the schedule will change. Anyway, glad this site exists and am planning on spending some time here!

Thanks for the invite NissanToy!
Unfortunately, I won't be back to SoCal until Friday afternoon and the car
is still supposed to be delivered on Saturday. So the only way I will make
it is if the car is delivered very early Saturday or they move it to another day.
We will have to get together for a drive sometime though!
Thanks again!

The car arrived on Sunday and I did make it to Solvang to check out the cars on Saturday. I am sure I will have many questions NissanToy. Pleasure Lorna!

Nissantoy,

Sounds great. I'd like an opinion on what I should improve first. Interior, engine, paint, and chrome all need some work. Plus a drive up your way sounds fun.

+1 on the mechanical.
You can take your time on the interior, as you go then find and save up for a good painter.
