Hello from Southern California
Hi Ladies and Gents,
I want to introduce myself to this forum. I am a proud owner of a 1966 311.
My first car was a yellow 1965 datsun roadster. It had alot of rust and missing parts. I held on to the roadster for nearly two years before I sold it because I had little knowledge on how to restore it. It was difficult to let it go because I knew I had something special. Several years later I acquirred a 1972 521 pickup truck as a gift. Great truck, but I did not have the same passion.
Past December I FINALLY found a roadster in the city of Ukiah that was complete, running and fitted my budget. So I maded a trip up north from Los Angeles. After two days and a 1,000 miles round trips, she is home where eventurally her tires will meet the pavements of Huntington Beach, Big Bear Lake and the desert toward Las Vegas.
My short term goal is to have her ready for Sovang.

Hey Welcome. Hopefully I will see you driving around, I live close by in northern Azusa but spend a lot of time in Sierra Madre and Monrovia.

Thank You!!
A little more TLC then she will be ready. Got her running nice and cool with an upgraded radiator. Skip from Millers Sport and Import is working on the brake issue that I been dealing with.
Lol. Sierra Madre and Monrovia is also where I can be commonly found. I enjoy parking outside of Jake Roadhouse resturant for breakfast. Looking forward to see you around.

How cool! I will definitely be on the look out for you driving around. While I don't have my 67 up and running (doing a full ground up resto) yet, we do have a white 240 z that you will see on the road shortly.

Good choice on having Skip look your car over!

Yes, the great Victor Laury first advised me about Skip. He knows all the perfect fixes, the budget fixes and what doesn't matter all that much
Of course he has been mentioned many times but if you don't mine the archives you can miss stuff. So repeating helps the newbies..
You might want to cruise to the SuperCar Sunday show, as mentioned here often, as a way of meeting owners too.
Great jumping off place for a Santa Monica mountains drive.
