Some of you may be familiar with the Japanese company OS Giken. They are well known in the auto racing community for clutch, LSD and transmission parts. Over 30 years ago the company founder, Osamu Okazaki, designed a DOHC 24-valve cylinder head for the L-series to outperform the European competition. The engine was called the TC24-B1Z. Only nine cylinder heads were made, making it a "mythical" beast. OS Giken announced recently announced bringing back the TC, but only in Japan.

For the first time, the TC24 is now available to North America and through an exclusive partnership with OS Giken. We built the world's first TC24-powered (LHD) S30 and it was unveiled at the 2015 SEMA show.

A few shots of the build using Rob's Go Green Series-1 240z. This car had a 440rwhp RB25DET drivetrain, then it was used as a test mule for the legendary TC24! Final home for the TC was our customer Gary's '71 S30, also destined to receive an RB30DET

I will have a full, in-depth story of the OS Giken/ZCG collaboration and the TC24 build on the blog soon. For now, enjoy this dyno run and video of the TC in action!
