We were planning to go down the Lochsa, Hwy 12, but Pat advised against it as traffic has increased over the years and there are few places to pass, so we went the I-90 to St. Maries route and got off there to begin our "twisty road" way into Moscow. What a blast to get to drive on some really nice twisty roads with incredible scenery

We arrived as planned at noon and began to install the hardtop using my softop clamps. Pat is getting closer to having a daily driver 2000 all put together out of 2 cars.
We went over to Pullman, WA to check out a 67.5 2000 that Pat's friend Bob has. Nice Solex carbed, race prepped engine that is supposed to make 187 hp and a frame off, ground up rebuild being done, no detail left untouched. Going to be awesome when Bob gets done.
Pat provided yet another way to go home down the White Pine Scenic Route and this one proved even twistier than the lst route. Great scenery and the road tested my 70's suspension to the limits. On thw way down and on the way home I had opportunities to race it up a bit but found the little 1600, though very willing, lacking in horsepower. So my quest for a stroker motor still burns hot.
A bright, crisp, 500 mile roundtrip Northwest day, twisty roads (that I have yet to discover here in Montana

Thanks again Pat and Ann.
