I plan on replacing pretty much every fastener on my car, and since it was mostly stripped down to start it is not that big of a deal.
Here I will catalog every thread size and pitch I can when doing my restomod. I will be doing a SR swap, and a few other custom items so there will be some departure from stock.
Right off the bat, does anybody know of any odd ball threads Datsun used on our cars, and maybe some fasteners that are harder to come by. I plan on converting many of the Philips pan head screws over to Panhead Hex, so if some of the Philips are odd that is probably fine for my use but not so much for others.

Save yourself some time. Go to the Tech Wiki. Look under Restoration Tips. Find: Fasteners, High windshield trim. And. Frame Bolts, what size bolts fit our little cars. If you care to add to this, please do, as there are some applications not listed. Pat

Perhaps a community effort? I started a Google sheet a while ago and measure stuff as I take it off the car; every nut and bolt. Have pitch, thread length, head width, washer thickness & width, nut thickness and width, markings, materials, etc.

Well the wiki sure will save me a lot of time. I will be sure to add to it as I find holes.

Re: Roadster fastener thread sizes
I have a '69 311, and have been cleaning and repairing as I go (barn find......).
I have removed the side windows and the fixed "vent" window. Replaced the inhibitors, have replaced most of the weather stripping and the "fuzzy" channel pieces.
Whoever had this car prior to me jimmy-rigged use of various nuts and bolts, one side door has regular nuts and bolts, other side has nuts and bolts mostly welded in.
Anybody have photos or charts or ......? to show how the door pieces go back together....?
