KA24E Swap - Comprehensive list needed

OK, I'g going to start in about a week to do the KA24E swap. I.ve searched the archives, and cannot find a complete list of items to do or needed for this swap, just bits and pieces. I would like to compile one as I do the swap, but also don't believe in re-inventing the wheel. Please help!

Here's the starting point.
I have the following on hand
  • 1966 SPL311-1600 complete target car
    1967 SPL311-1600 cpmplete future project and parts donor
    1970 SPL311-2000 Chassis with suspension only.
    1990 240sx parts, which include: KA24E, 5 speed, starter, alternator ECU, wiring harness, instrument cluster upper and lower heater hoses, air intake plenums, air cleaner assembly, everything except the Mass Airflow Sensor.
    510 Parts (68-73), including several L16's 2-L20's, a disassembled L18, wiring harnesses, motor mounts, several auto transmissions, 1-P/U 5 speed, 1 200sx 5speed, 3 - 4 speeds.
Info I am trying to gather (including photos, part descriptions, part numbers, suppliers etc. if possible):
  • wiring diagrams showing the modified harness
    Motor mounts including metal brackets, rubbers etc.
    Trans mounts including metal brackets, rubbers etc.
    frame modifications
    fuel tank changes
    fuel line changes
    body modifications if needed
    driveshaft options, requirements
    changes needed to the KA24E
    master cylinders - clutch and brake (switch to dual reservoir)
    trans options (what other trans combinations will work including automatics, my health may require a change to an automatic in the next couple years, and I don't plan on getting rid of the toys!)
    Anything else you can think of.
I have several friends (510 types) that are going to assist me. One did work at a Nissan Dealer, and 2 have done a KA24DE Swap into a 510.

I will be adding photos and my own info as I go, and if the combined info turns out to be useful, I'll post it for future swaps.

KA24E Swap HELP PLEASE

I have the engine and trans out of the '66, and placed the KA24E (1990 240SX) into the engine compartment to assess what I need to do.

I'm trying to gather info on the following(including photos, part numbers and descriptions, suppliers etc. if possible):

-wiring diagrams showing the modified harness or a list of the connections needed
-Motor mounts including metal brackets, rubber mounts used etc.
-Trans mounts including metal brackets, rubber mounts used etc.
-frame modifications (I know about the one for the oil pump)
-fuel tank changes (for installing a fuel pump.)
-fuel line changes (I'm replacing with new anyway)
-body modifications if needed
-driveshaft options, requirements
-changes needed to the KA24E
-master cylinders - clutch and brake (switching to dual reservoir, and doing volvo conversion)
-transmission options, what trans combinations work, including automatics, (my health may require a change to an automatic in the next couple years, and I don't plan on getting rid of the toys!)
Anything else you can think of.

RE:KA24 Swap FINALLY AN UPDATE

Not exactly the update I was hoping for. I wanted to say it's done, but . . . nothing much done since my last post.

8 Days after the last work and posting, one of the friends helping me died in a head on collision. Since then 9 more deaths (8 family, and another friend) Two of those passing were my father-in-law, and my Dad.

Twice my garage and basement filled with estate stuff that needed to be dealt with first. But now I am able to get into the garage, and I'm working on the car again.

Frame and engine compartment were pressure washed, Motor and tranny are sitting on the frame, the frame is marked for notching, and I'm measuring and fabricating mounts.

FINALLY, I'm smiling again.
