Daddy's Datsun 2000 Restoration project

Post by John Goss »

Newbee here. I recently acquired my father's '70 Datsun 2000 roadster. He was the original owner. Bought it from Stiles Motors in Springfield Oregon. A couple of months ago he passed it on to me, it was sitting in the barn since 1992 when it was last driven. I towed it up here to Bellevue, WA. Needless to say, it has a lot of restoring to do.

I look forward to joining the local roadster group. Can anyone tell me what that group is in the Seattle, Redmond area?

Who knew restoring a classic would be such an an obsession?

The DROPS group has periodic meets in Bellevue for pizza. PM Ted Heaton for more info.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.
