Just noticed you have Miata seats in your car in case you didn't already know that.

Yes they are. Came with the car when I bought it. Seen a few roadsters with them. Originals look good too, don't have them.

Original seats are not too hard to find. I have a set in the garage.

Yup, Florida. The project that I had them set aside from isn't happening any time soon, so I'll certainly sell them

It's been a lonely road... I wish there were other roadsters I can get together with & cruise around. Up in the mountains where I live in coarsegold ca. There is no such thing. I have a buddy that has a 260 z that he's about to get on the road, I'll putt around with him. I've been getting good response with the roadster, people taking pics of it & telling me stories about the roadster they once had. Hopefully I can locate some peeps with roadsters close by so we car get together & drive..:)

Took my car to work for the first time, felt good.. A lot of co-workers checking it out and asking questions.

The response I have been getting around my small town has been amazing! A lot of people know what the Datsun roadsters are and had or knew someone that owned one. There are a lot of tourists too passing through on their way to Yosemite national park. When I'm driving it around town someone will approach me about it. I didn't think the datsun would produce that much interest!

Welcome to the club Greg. Seems like Almost every red light I'm at someone will pull up next to me and start talking about how they had one back in the 70s and wish they hadn't sold it for $500 because it was such a great little car even after he rolled it chasing down his friends mustang.....and.......and.........you get the idea lol.

So typical! I've considered keeping a log of the people who have asked about the car etc just for fun. There's just something about a Roadster... or maybe it's the perma grin on your face!

Driving in Yosemite would be fun.
How about a pic with Half Dome in the background? You might make the Datsun Roadster calendar......... :)
