I could probably do a couple more, unfinished and unpainted of course. That would be up to the person. I also don't have the CAD file anymore, so I'd need to recreate that first. If I get some spare time at work (i.e. lunch breaks), I'll see what I can do.

Heck Jordan, I would drill holes in my car if I had one

To clarify here: Keith hoped I'd sell him my exhaust system if I could not get the car running. :smt003 At least it is my take on it
I knew I'd never get it. :smt064 I'm just glad you got it running, besides JT will sell me one when I'm ready. I'm in the same position, I need to get mine running. Seems like I keep losing weekends to work on it.

@Cktrap. For me having the exhaust in boxes in my garage provided added inspiration to get it running 8) 8) 8)

Just saying ... I hear you on weekend loss.
Every day is a weekend for me. Only took me 3 months to find my tranny noise  oh well

I'm still targeting the multi state. I bought a new gooseneck trailer to move some equipment around. I bet I can put two roadsters on it.

Initial startup after engine refresh. Still got to balance carbs but ran good around town today.

I could hear it fine, congratulations! It may have been the camera position, but sounds like it has a small exhaust leak perhaps?

These carbs pull so much vacuum that the slides start ticking against the carb body from pulsations. After gaining more cylinder pressure on all 4 they've got to be synced now. I'm happy with the outcome.

Kudos to Metric Engine, a local machine shop in North Hollywood. Recently had them redo a Volvo head for my daughters car and now mine. Very reasonably priced and they wait on you soon as you enter the shop. How many times in my past have I been told just build a pile on the floor and we'll get to it. The owner is a good old boy probably in his 70s but he's right there running and over seeing every station. I supplied all new valve guides as they were cracked at the tip, and new seals. The cost was $220 for what he did which was valve job, resurfacing, and pressing in new guides and hot tanking.

Finally replaced the turbo drain tube that cracked on the way back from Solvang (probably started on the way) Boy did it make a mess under the car! I originally made it from soft copper but I guess when I bent it, it stressed at the bend as that is where it cracked. New tube is .049 wall 316 stainless. Not going to fail again.

Replaced the old dash and control knobs with some new fresh ones. The S/Brake knob was a bitch!!

Spent the day with my father doing a valve job and taking the dashboard out to fix a heater core. At some point in its life the core went bad and someone plugged up the system. We were able to source 2 other cores to figure out the source of some of the heating issues with the car. While the dash was out we were able to figure out some of the electrical issues with the car. It was a great day of automotive exploration!

I completed adding a new coil to my car, Blaster2 #8222, hi vibration ,epoxy filled, 45,000 volts. It was getting kind of hot so I rechecked and tightened connections. The ignition module had a little gouge in it exposing some metal so I put some liquid electrical tape on just to see if that might help. The coil is cooler but not sure what did what :? But if it is fixed sometimes you just don't care too much!
I do like the MSD system. Nice idle and power from the multi sparks.
I have a spare coil, a spare pickup, and a spare module because it isn't always fuel problem...although BTDT :)

I finished up refurbishing my drivers seat last night. Pretty happy with the results.
