Hello all from Sarasota Florida!

Post by ericstammer »

Not a new Datsun Owner , but new to forum.
I have a 1970 1600 , for about a 8mos. A 1969 2000 ( boarderline parts car or good canidate for resto).
I am in process of aquiring a 67 from a fellow forum member that shall remain anon as deal isnt fully complete yet.
My 70 was in an accident, i was T boned on drivers side a few mos ago. And right now is being considered a total, tho an excellent body shop says it very fixable. So her fate is still in the balance.
I can post pics if there is any interest.
But glad to be here ,look fwd to the 67 joining the family!!

Welcome Eric!

Pictures are always appreciated (of both cars)! The 69 was not by any chance a dull/dirty gold? My first roadster was a 69 2000, gave it to a relative who was going to restore it, but he ended up selling it and never saw it again.

Looks more like a strong side swipe rather than a T-Bone, but it still looks very expensive.

The lovely uninsured motorist appeared out from betweeen stopped vehicles at a stoplight that were (heading in same direction as me) trying to make a left turn. She struck me near the front fender and door , i was swerving hence her bumper (or what was there of it on the crap car traveled back down the side. :(
