THANKS JOAQUIN!!!

Post by Jorge022770 »

My friends: I must share with you this. Most of you know Joaquin, faithful Roadster lover. I have to say that I have had the opportunity to meet through this forum a lot of great individuals, and I am grateful to all of you for always being there willing to help.

Joaquin proved to be the nicest guy I've met in many years. After many failed attempts to go to his house to pickup a windshield that he was kind enough to find and hold for me, on my last attempt I was in a car accident that left me pretty beat up. Joaquin decided to give the windshield to me at no cost, and to top it all, my doorbell rang friday night and when I went to see who was there, I saw Joaquin standing there with the windshield. He took the time to drive to my house and deliver the windshield to my door.

Now that is what I call being a truly nice guy with a big heart. We are lucky to have someone like Joaquin being part of this group of great individuals. Thanks again Joaquin!

Joaquin is a top notch guy. And he's just staring out. I wish I was that cool when I was a kid, Roadster and all. I might have got somewhere in life :D besides being a crazy obsessed Roadster fan.

This reminds me of a recent pet peeve. I saw an auction on ebay for a datsun part. The listing says "IF THIS DOESN'T SELL IT'S GOING TO THE JUNK YARD," and then the starting bid is like $20 which is barely what the part might be worth. If you're gonna junk it, sell it for $1 or give it away. Stingy bastards!!

Keep those parts and Roadsters in circulation. If you haven't started fixing it yet, you aint gonna do it!!

By the way, those who show Feb. 5th for the SoCal Sun Run, will have the opportunity to look through all my parts...

Joaquin is a class act. He is also one of the few folks that I actively instant message with. I used to refer to him as a kid, but he is beyond that - he is a young man. But I still have to bust his chops from time to time!

The Roadster community has some great folks. It is always good to hear when someone does something nice like that too. Joaquin helped me out with a couple of items gratis as well! His positive attitude will fare him well in life. Of course, that will all go out the window when he really realizes that there are girls out there...

Well I have met Joaquin and I think he is a complete bastard. I've never met anyone so rude, foul mouthed, or violent in all my life. He once arrived at my door with a 1600 radiator that he used to beat me around the head with. When he finished beating me, he took my wallet, spat on my dog, and stole my girlfriend. As he was leaving he swore at and punched my elderly neighbour. Other people have told me that one of his favourite hobbies is torturing small animals.

Mike

p.s. being from Australia I've never met Joaquin, and while I'm sure he's a very nice guy, I just want to make sure his head doesn't get to big from all the praise!!!!! The above comments are complete fiction!! :)

hahaha. That's true. And look, to be fair, he did leave the radiator behind. After I cleaned all of my blood off it, and removed the clumps of hair from the fins, it works ok.
