Would love to think it would be like this...Joseph@TheZStore wrote:Aerial pictures of the Run? How cool is that. Do share later!
But we are going to get one shot of the group coming through.. So probably not. I do not know what you guys have worked out with the stadium so I do not plan to fly the drone down there, just out in the canyon run..

Fun at Z-Bash today - lots of great Datsun people, and love for the Roadster. Probably 300-400 cars, but only three Roadsters that I saw. Regardless, very surprised my car came in third for a "People's Choice" award at a "Z-show." Highly recommend it to SoCal members for next year.

Oh, you were serious? While my car runs really well, and I'm pretty confident I did a good job putting it all together, I can't imagine having to rebuild that motor again if something went "boom." Also, not sure what I'd learn? I have a stock motor bored over 20 with a "B" Cam and Solexes. So 150ish HP +\- 5%... I get why people want to dyno their SR swaps however...

Something was off on that dyno. The number he gave me was 130hp.. the rear brakes were steamy when he was done. Today at the track the car is faster than its ever been, even with a passenger, and the rear brakes are not getting hot.. Not sure what happened, but..
Great show though! I think and all my z friends are saying that was so much better than doing it in the street.. Really well done

I'll vouch for Mike's run. No way did his Roadster sound like a 130hp car. Another spectator came up to me towards the end of the show and remarked he thought something was wrong with that run too.RCMike wrote:Something was off on that dyno. Yes it is a great photo, saw Michael Anderson's 311 in the video (or a very good impersonator ). Wonder if there werebakerjf wrote:Dang - great picture of my car. Thanks!
other roadsters there too. Oh I read up other posts guess there were three. Lots of very sweet ZZ's and a portable dyno too.
Did you want to get your engine rated John? This is like asking: "is the Pope catholic"? LOL
