Moved Alternator..not too much trouble!

Post by eastmedia »

Hi All,

After breaking off the Alternator mounting bolt inside the bracket I decided to move it to the passenger side of the engine. The previous posts I had seen involved some fabricating. My method involved none.

I used an alternator bracket from an earlier engine.

Here's a link to my website and a small write-up.

Looking quite proper Ron. Good job. Alternator back where Nissan intended it to go.

Ron,

Just one thing wrong with your post - that's the DRIVER side of the car, not the passenger.

I hope you noticed that I'm in the top half of the globe where the steering wheels are on the left hand side. Do you all golf from the wrong side of the ball too down under!!??
Happy Driving!
