I DROVE from San Jose to San Diego to participate in the Touge California rally on Saturday. The rally started in Escondido and ended in Irvine with a tour of Mazda's HQ.

Alvin use to give me a hard time for driving with my top up. He would always have his down and say

"Stacey is affraid to get his hair messed up!"

Really ir was just that I had my wife with me. That and my hat would blow off to easy at Alvin speeds. I finally made a hat keeper and now weather permitting I usually drive with top down now.

So now he drives a hard top??? who is afraid now?
He must be getting old or something!' :smt005 :smt005
Or mabe it is more lockable for trips....

Certainly the car with a hardtop on is more aerodynamic, this is important at speeds above  85 mph.
Seem to recall a number of photos with speedo at or above this ...

Now who has the most photos in here? :smt002

Just saying

Dear Stacey,
I think you have me confused for somebody else :D If you'll indulge me for a moment, as I do not recall saying that! Here is why:

The fun run we were on together I had my hardtop on:

So, unless you can show me otherwise...it wasn't me! I ALWAYS have my hardtop on.

My neighbor was 2 weeks ago 50 years old and he saw that I had my engine replaced, so when can I make a drive with you, was his question.
Well jump in the car and see what the car can do, this small movie is made with his I-phone in his hand.

Drove my car up the Willow Springs for the weekend.. Had an absolute blast on Streets on Friday, hanging out with some friends.

Convinced a friend of mine who is a professional driver to take a run in my roadster. I thought it would be cool to get some feedback to see how accurate what I feel in the car is. This video is taken as he got in the car, essentially for the first time (he had driven the car around the block at the shop when it needed to move).. It was so cool to watch, except for the part where his elbow knocked the glove box cover off..lol

Anyway, I thought his reaction at the end was priceless!

Saturday ran Big Willow. Seriously fun, but also seriously scary.. My day ended after the Cadillac I was following blew open his 700+hp engine and showered my car in oil and scrap aluminum.. Absolutely awesome weekend.. Some language when the Caddy catches on fire..

Peter, VERY GOOD,
Looked like your neighbor will not ask for a second ride
Was that a Dutch Police car in the last frame. ?
Richard tells me the Dutch fines for speeding are very high :(
Bring that one to the USA and you will have more fun driving it :smt005
