Very cool. Do you have the radio? The positive ground units are hard to find.

Re: 1963 fairlady
Well i basically took all the boxes and such out of the car and theyre waiting to be sorted in my "man cave"..... Idk if its just me but i really hate that term for some reason. Anyway, i digress.
Emptied the trunk of random stuff. The original jack, spare and tire hold down. Also the fuel tank feeder etc. Didnt find a fuel cap yet.
I didn't really look around but curious what goes in this empty hole?

Re: 1963 fairlady
I believe that the inspection panels are all the same size, but I must admit that I have not measured to be sure.

Re: 1963 fairlady
So i dug my way through the dusty boxes today. Looks like i am missing the choke cable. the rest of the stuff appears to be there. Found the gas cap and back up light. I have what appears to be, tons of old hardware to sort out and toss..
Cool old nissan box. Too bad they arent NOS.

Re: 1963 fairlady
I may have a NOS choke cable. I'll look.

Re: 1963 fairlady
Is it going to be an impossibiy to find the correct fuel pump, can i mod the one i have or should i just bend over?
Another? It appears that this engine, even being rebuilt, has been sitting a bit. Can prime the oiling system like on a SBC? Or?
Radiator cap, NOS, refurbish, move on?

Re: 1963 fairlady
Pull the plugs and coil wire, and crank it over. If you are really concerned, remove the valve cover and pour about a half of a quart of oil on the rockers and down the pushrods. Run with the pump that you have until you get it sorted out, then replace it with the correct one. (Buy it now before they all disappear ) live with the radiator cap unless it bugs you, then get the proper one. Either NOS or a correctly rated replacement. I believe that they were four psi rated.
