Post by gnob »

Recently picked up this car. Bought from daughter of original owner. 66k been garaged last 18 or so years.

Vehicle looking to be complete. Came with great hard top and tonneau cover.

Just curious what you all think.

Very nice! Do you have the carburetor and aircleaner? The aircleaner is harder to find than an early Solex aircleaner. If you have all of the bits, that is a great find!

Wow! That is super cool. Looks good! I did notice it appears a newer type fuel pump has been installed. From what i know of the 63s they had the filter bowl attached to the pump and a hand primer also.

Rallye roadsters has a carb for your car i think but unsure about air cleaner. As said above those are very rare. Whole car is very rare. Congrats! Pretty cool peice of history you have there.

Thanks. I do have the carb and air cleaner.
I noticed the pump as well.

The people i got it from said its all there. Some just in boxes.
They were going through it and were moving so they had to dump it.

Thinking just getting it back to stockish. Its too clean to molest.

I must be dreaming seeing this find. I dream of many hours of fun labor ahead for at least one of us :( :) :D with all the emotions.

But in the end the love you take is equal to the roadster you make!

If you get an H20 valve cover and have it plated, it will look similar.
