NostalgicDatsun.com wrote:Chris Nolan, there are many good places for lodging. A good number of attendees stay at Svendsgaard's. Lodging fills up fast so I suggest you get a place booked.
From trying to book online there are none available for the dates. Might try calling them to see.

I released two places yesterday or the day before. One was at King Fredrick's and one was Atterdag Inn.

I'm surprised for as many lodges that are "Full", the show registration is sure low. There are usually more registered participants by now. If your New Year’s resolution was to register for the Solvang Show, then now is a good time to follow through with that resolution and register!

We are looking forward to another great year with Great Cars, Great People, Great Awards, Fantastic Banquet food and a great time with the Best Raffle prizes!

The Motel 6 Buellton is still available. I stayed there once and it was better than expected. The room was very clean. There were really not any perks, but if you just need a place to sleep or watch TV between events it was perfect. And the drive into Solvang is very short (10 min) and scenic along the way.

+1

I stay there Friday night every year. It's clean, perfectly safe and adequate for me. On Saturday though, when my wife and kids come up, I switch over to something bigger in town or out at Vandenberg AFB.

I just registered for the show. Do you want me to help with the parking again?

Anyone want a gas-sharing shotgun for the show - not sure that Eliza will be ready.

1) Me!!
2) She started "fumbling" about a year ago - I tried the usual stuff - didn't work - got fed up - and that was that. Got an EI dizzy to install - just need more motivation - hopefully next weekend, but my enthusiasm level is currently LOW!
Thanks for asking.
