Nostalgia Racing video of Roadster at '95 Black Otter Hill Climb

Post by msampsel »

Feeling a little nostalgic as I raced this course 3 times in the 70's. Video link is Black Otter Hill Climb from '95.
To my surprise this video shows a roadster (pretty sure it is just by the sound) as the first car, unfortunately it does not show up again in the video.
There are some interesting cars entered though.
Course was 1.1 miles (time trials) mostly uphill with lots of fun and exciting corners.
Maybe this is in the wrong place for this post ... sorry if it is  we can move or delete it.

67 1600 (Mods only a mother could love)
78 911 SC Targa (Severe Oversteer but still loved)

I love the bugeye that spins before getting through the 1st corner, and the firebird with on skinny street tires. A few 510s and 240z too (I didn't have the patience to find the roadster in the video...)

Here's my car at Duryea in 2008. Getting it ready for some events this year, I haven't hillclimbed it in a few years since I have been busy building a 240z.

Glad you enjoyed it, I did too. Unfortunately I have to print a retraction, my excitement
made me think there was a roadster, which there is not.

The 4x4s. Whoa. Liked the white vette and the 510s
