Hello - I'm new to the Forum

Post by Rick1967311 »

My name is Rick Pierce I live in North Carolina. I have had my 1967 1600 for 32 years with dozens of starts and stops on the restoration. I'm finally heads down finishing up many of the little things, and I'm almost there. My first car in 1974 at 16 was a 1967 1600. Looking forward to getting to know folks on the forum and if any owners are in the North Carolina or Southern VA area, let me know.

Welcome Rick! There are a surprising number of NC Roadies! Winston Salem is a veritable hotbed with as many as 10 known good running around. We also have an awesome (secret) Roadster graveyard and several world renowned Roadster racing, and repair legends! Ties go all the way to Paul Newman and his racing teams.
"When all else fails, force prevails!" Ummm, we're gonna need a bigger hammer here.

Welcome. Mine's not road worthy yet, but I'm hoping it will be by the end of the upcoming summer. I'm in the Virginia Hampton roads area. Hopefully we can organize some type of area region get together.

Welcome! Your story is like my story, right down to the first name. I bought my 68 in 73 as a sort of graduation present to myself.
This is the place to be, especially since it sounds like you will have quite a bit of expertise.

Funny! This Rick is staying on the east coast, but it definitely looks like west coast roadster owners have more organized groups. I'm looking forward to meeting more roadster owners
