My vent covers were missing most of the little fingers and I had dropped something down the hole. So I wanted to cover.
Super simple fix - Gutter Guard, its $5 from the hardware store and can be cut with scissors. It fits in pretty well with the plastic dash and the hashed metal pattern on the exterior vent grill. The vent measured about 140mm x 40mm with slightly rounded corners.

And bonus - you still have another 19.8 feet of gutters you can fix up.
