***** off topic **** cam corders
Since we're already off topic, I'll post it here......
I have used a couple of the SONY digital camcorders
(which have built-in video stabilization)
for capturing in-car video of auto-x and hillclimb runs
as well as car club road trips.
Even without a really stable mount,
the resulting video is pretty good.
For best results, get a wide angle lens for the camera
to have a more realistic view out the windshield
and avoid the "tunnel vision" effect while filming.
Of course, in the roadster, with the top off,
you'll get a really fine view of the road in front of the car
as well as the dash, gauges, driver sterring, etc !

"under $300"
Thats what i like to hear!!
Ok, i was letting the little car run to get up to temp b/c i just got the elec. ign. and temp gauge.... while it was running it stopped all of a sudden and my friend said he saw some sparks. So i looked and the wire from the fire wall that went to the distributor was touching the block, so I moved it and it started running..... could this have been the problem all along??
