Drove over the Nebo loop from Payson UT to Nephi UT. 10,000 feet high. Stopped at Walmart on the way home for ice-cream. Came out of the store and found a guy on the ground on his back looking under the rear end of the car. Found out he was from Delta UT and has a '69 roadster that his wife said they had been "hauling around for 30 years and hasn't run in 25." Gave him my phone number in case he needed parts or advice. Maybe seeing this one will get him started on his. Couldn't talk too long, the ice-cream was melting.

Wednesday, I drove to my friends surprise birthday party. His girlfriend invited all of his canyon friends, and brought appetizers and sodas/water to the top of the hill. About 60 people came up..

We did some driving up and down the hill, and I experimented with my new phone..

Riding down the hill in the early AM..

Friday, I went with Ron Carter to the VARA races at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, to check out where I will be running in 2 weeks..
Image

Saw some awesome Datsuns, with some top notch drivers..
Image

Gorgeous track. I can't wait to come back and run..
Image

We got back Sunday night, just in time to go to the 1 year anniversary for Cafe 86. Great little shop, fun people, and some really cool cars..

Fun weekend!

Turbo Teds Fall Apple Drive. 10-14-15. 380 miles. Beautiful sunny day.
Over the Cascade Mts. at Chinook Pass , 4530', near Mt Rainier.
Up my favorite 15 mile paved Forest Service road to the ventilated "Pavement Ends" sign
E to Yakima for Fuji Apples.
Without the top the roadster shelf holds 3 apple boxes
Back N. and W. up the Yakima River Canyon.

Ted.

Ran out of the office early this afternoon to enjoy the 21Deg C sunshine and to visit Sports Imports. Ross managed to entertain my driving companion who was a little cranky since she had missed her nap.

Very nice! Can't wait to get mine back from paint. I have about another two weeks before I can start the reassembling process.
Enjoy

Took the Roadster over to the Donut Derelicts hang out in H.B. Saturday morning and the two guys from the show Wheeler Dealers were there. After looking my car over for a few minutes Edd China shakes his head and says, "you Americans take this stuff just a bit too far".

Ha!.... Actually, I didn't manage to get either of us in the picture and by the time I did get my phone out they were moving on down the road. (That's Edd being blocked out by my hood with the orange Hawaiian shirt.)

On Sunday I DROVE to Pescadero via 17 and HWY 1 up the coast. It was a birthday drive with my wife. We haven't been in the roadster together since we had kids!
Image

And for the first time I actually drove the roadster in the rain...like rooster-tail style rain!
