OK, I don't get it. You don't have enough money to fix up your Roadster, but you are talking about buying another old Datsun project? Doesn't make sense to me, but more power to you. On eBay, the front spoiler will bring about $100. The wheels a couple of hundred if polished. That gets you your 300.

Personally, I would fix the Roadster then build a mild v8 for the Monza.

well, i dont want to miss out on it.... and my grandfather lets us put cars behind his house.... so it would be a later project (maybe RB26dett?)

Did you get it?

Electrical faults arent too hard to fix, if you know a little about electrisity.

Datsuns are addictive. I have two 240Z's a CSP311 and 2 skylines(C110 and an R31 ).

Now why did I have to start reading this post?

Within then next week or two, I'm going to re-check out a 73 240z thats been sitting a garage for a long long long time.

Original paint and those dealer alum mags. Fitted with a webers and header, but the stock carbs are still in a box in the back hatch.
Also would come with a spare engine and few nos parts goodies.

I tried to forget about this car since I first saw it, but it might be time to start up a new project.

If I end up getting it, and my wife asks about it, I'm going to blame Evan for poisoning my judgement.

I saw this 240z project. It is more expensive than your typical project car, but it looks like all of the difficult/expensive work has already been completed and most of the parts to re-assemble are included:
