Well I have a complete set I bought off evilbay for $200, one socket with a broken lense I got somewhere else and then I saw these for cheap. I'm thinking I would re-chrome them and buy the replacement lenses.

But if you have some that are better I might be interested. I intend to put them on my 66 and 67 cars.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

Last coat of base. Despite the primitive facilities, the paint looks great - sprayed fine, no runs or orange peel. Lacking a serious compressor, I ran two, for a total of about 9 scfm@90, roughly 50 gallons of air storage, which worked for my gun. The biggest help was about 40 ft of black iron and copper pipe with 3 drops before the filter and regulator. I am going to let it settle for a couple days, then shoot a couple coats of silver/white pearl, then a few coats of clear. This is Southern Polyurethanes pure white base over their white epoxy primer, to be followed with their universal clear. Nice paint. Hopefully the nice weather holds long enough, I am a little behind schedule (:

I think you have the same disease I do. Hell, I had to add another bay to my three car garage to make room for my growing roadster projects. Just think of the car I could have built for that chunk of cash.

I think it is a virus that was embedded in this forum as others have the disease as well. 8)

My main hobby is old farm tractors. I have six. One is restored, one is half done. One is a regular worker, two go to the tractor pulls, and one is waiting its turn. One of the pullers has "It's a Sickness" on the sides of his hopped up puller. The one that is waiting its turn doesn't seem to be too badly bothered that the Datsun got in ahead of it.

Oh my, I believe your sickness knows no bounds.

In my case my main sickness is something very physical. 40 years and counting practicing and teaching kendo. This gives me two forms of stress relief, putting on armor, yelling very loudly, and hitting people and driving the car.

I installed new fender flares and side skirts, after installing the 300zx brakes and 5mm spacer the front tires started rubbing the fender. Yes i had to cut both the fenders and quarters to make the flares work. I felt sad and heartbroken when cutting into the car but I'm happy with the final result. I will now have larger selection of rims and tires that will fit my car.

I feel the same way .... I spent many hours with the saw in my hand, after 4 hours I decided to start cutting.

Ha ha. I remember putting a sunroof in a custom van I built.
Make a template, measure, beer, measure again, beer, check template again. Fire up the saw and cut away.
Scary to cut into a perfectly good body (even after a little liquid courage).
The flares look great. Nice job.

Looks good. :D

A few questions if you dont mind.

what are the flares made of and where did they come from?

Are they riveted on?

And here is the biggie. You said you had to cut. What did you do about the inner fender on the rears??
Will trade guitars for roadsters, food, shelter, clothes, etc, etc.
