1600 rear wheel cylinder seal
I just called Rallye and with shipping and tax the two 3/16 seals comes to 50.00!!
Does anyone have an alternative? I checked online and Napa and they are not available. I may have to save up more money and order some additional parts to make it worth it. I just want the seals because the cylinders look good.
Thanks.
Dave.

Re: 1600 rear wheel cylinder seal
That would be a 3/4", not 13/16" I did not find a kit for 13/16" when I needed one. Not sure if any other car used this size. You can find complete 13/16" cylinders but they are very costly.
3/4" cylinders and kits can be found. Seems there is something in the wiki about using 510 cylinders. I found 3/4" kits for less than $10.

I hope they have them back in stock because I tried to buy those earlier this year and no one had them.23yrRebuild wrote:$8.73 at my local NAPA,

I ended up getting kits for my 3/4" cylinders and putting them on.

Re: 1600 rear wheel cylinder seal
My bad, ...NOT all day long, more like not at all.... I actually called a store in Seattle for you (I'm in Kansas City), that said they're discontinued, but there are two kits left in a California NAPA distribution center. Sorry buds, I tried...I hate it when they advertise stuff that's no longer available...grrrrrr...

And the message from NAPA and I quote:
"We don't make it no more."
I guess that's one way to state it.

Re: 1600 rear wheel cylinder seal
Well guess what you can buy direct from Japan? Part numbers match the 13/16 part numbers in the manual. I ordered one.

Reviving this one for Curtis or anyone else. Can anyone confirmed that these 13/16 inch Datsun 1200 / 510 piston seals work on the 65-67 Roadster 13/16 rear wheel cylinder?
The oblong backing plate dust seal and cylinder rubber dust cap I see in 510 kits look like they would work fine. Just looking for cheap piston seals at this point. Also in the parts manual the 65-67 Master cylinder diagram shows two piston seals Primary / Secondary that are the same part No. (Actually I'm seeing two secondary seals on the drawing) They are at opposite ends from each other on the Pistons. The Roadster 13/16 rebuild kits that the Vendors put together only have one piston seal per wheel kit, what am I missing?? https://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun/s ... -(1965-67)
Buying complete 510 rear brake cylinders was on my radar realizing they need a SAE to metric adapter, but I have not actually found a thread where anyone confirmed that they made that setup work. One 311 member on a thread a year or two ago year mentioned he bought the adapters but the flares between the brake line and adapter were not correct.
Per MrWaj .....thread viewtopic.php?t=30375
"I just started to install 510 wheel cylinders on my 67. Napa part # 37274. The thread is 10mm 1.0 (not 1.25), I tested it with a bolt. I think the adapter required is a 3/8-24 female flare to a 10mm-1.0 male inverted flare. I have yet to find this. I think the Napa part Copilot listed (Balkamp BK 6413312) almost correct. The female part is an inverted flare, not a flare. This may work because it will seal to a point but I would be worried about long term since it would create an inverted flair mating up to an inverted flair. Am I missing something here? FYI, the Speedbleeder for the 510 wheel cylinder is SB7100s".
Thoughts?

Try this link for an adapter that might work...they have both 10 x 1.0 bubble and inverted
