Re: A14 SWAP?
Also think the A14 would be disappointing even compared to the L18! Not much torque.

Re: A14 SWAP?
Why would anyone do that swap? In my understanding the R16 is a better motor.
What would be the advantage of all the mod work, to get a lesser or equal to an R16.
It's going to take time and money to do the swap. Would it not make more sense to improve or stroke your existing motor?
Even getting your carbs rebuilt or some z therapy ones or a Gary Boone ignition will make a marked improvement on a stock motor with not too much expense.
So, I don't get it. Why do a swap to that motor?

Will trade guitars for roadsters, food, shelter, clothes, etc, etc.

Re: A14 SWAP?
I guess my situation is a little different being that my car is already heavily modified and if the engine was cheap enough maybe it would work out but unless i have a good r16 to start with maybe i should just get the L18 in good shape and just drive.
