PS. What wheels are they
Thanks! I'm not even sure what wheels they are. I'll have to pull one off sometime and take a look at the backside.

I did not put the sticker on it. The man I purchased it from in Fairbanks purchased it from a guy in BC.

I got the new clutch hydraulics installed and working. I should be getting the electronic ignition this coming week or next and then I should be able to enjoy it! I have a line on a 5 speed that I may have shipped up for a swap. The tranny needs a little work anyway so I figure why not upgrade. The engine bay will get its much needed strip and repaint while I have everything out as well. On a final note, I ended up having to install a brake master cylinder brace. While I was surfing the Web for parts I saw the brace available and immediately checked my car to see if it had a cracked firewall or not. Low and behold it did but has a better pedal feel now.

You'll like the 5speed, but keep in mind the conversion requires the correct backing plate, U20 driveshaft, and trans mount. I understand that you can double up on the R engine backing plate, there should be those here who can guide you on trans mount options, but the drive shaft is the drive shaft...

I did read someone's thread on doing the swap and the issues with not using the right mount. The one thing that I couldn't find is how many different 5-speeds can be swapped over requiring the same parts? Have people that have done the swap before had an issue with sourcing all the parts in a timely manner?

Welcome. There are now 4 roadsters in Anchorage that I know of:
The red one is Dave's - he did a great restoration on it over many years.
He worked on the 67.5 that Akpilot is modifying about 10 years before I got it. He was surprised I'd gotten it running again (guess it was in bad shape then as well!).
I've got pics of my 68 with his. He knows these roadsters like the back of his hand, I garnered a ton of info from him in just a few hours.

Akpilot is the master, I think he can make/fix anything you can think of . You should check out his project on this site.

I'm pretty good at the basics, but don't have a lot of time as a single dad nor the best space for working on my lil car but I do okay.
We definitely should try to get together sometime before the winter sets in
