Mark nailed it! Now, the really bizarre part is that there were at least 2 manufacturers of those fastback tops. And there were 2 versions! The first ones were designed for the 1500s even!! To add to the weirdness, I have seen photos of one in Australia which suggests that either someone spent the money to ship one, or there is a company down there that made them.
