The GB dizzy really helped my car. Even though the original distributor had been cleaned, new springs, advance plate lubed, connections inspected , it never worked as well as the EI dizzy. Also it is very easy to install with good instructions.
Cameron, you might want to consider it. Also that nut that was missing in the distributor, where did it go? I think I would open up the distributor and check just to be sure.

Yeah, I poked my head in and looked around, but didn't find the nut.
It probably fell out a while back when I took the insulator out to check it out..
Everything is running fine, I actually drove it a couple night ago about 20 miles away, ran beautifully! It was freakin cold though...a sweatshirt and 2 jackets weren't enough in the 20deg wind.

It got up to about 22 degrees today, but the wind was nasty. I had a guy pass me on a motorcycle today. He was splitting lanes in traffis. Can't fault him on that, faster he got home, sooner he stopped freezing.
